A quiet space to slow down, explore, and let a way of seeing unfold

In January 2022, I began these editions as a way to reconnect, away from the noise and speed of social media. It felt like something was getting lost there, and many of you felt the same.

Over time, these writings and images have grown into something more. They now come together under one name, COMMON, a quiet space where I share my work, ongoing projects, exhibitions, and the process behind them.

COMMON is also about what we share, light, nature, details, colour, and how we experience them. The everyday, often overlooked because it feels so familiar. Not rare or spectacular, but simply there. It starts with attention, taking the time to look and not move on.

Each edition is different. One regular item is : From My Bookshelf, where I share photo and art books that inspire me.

I value the exchange this creates. Your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions are always welcome.

COMMON is available in English, French, and Dutch. The original is written in English, then carefully translated to keep the same tone and rhythm.
